An absorbent article has been patented. The article comprises an absorbent pad with a topsheet surface and an opposite bottom sheet surface. The topsheet surface has a length and a width configured to fit the pudendal region of a woman. The article also has a liquid-impermeable baffle adjacent to the bottom sheet surface. The baffle has a length and a width covering the bottom sheet surface. A pair of pre-formed cuffs is also included. Each cuff has a biased engaged position in direct biased contact against the baffle for holding a side surface of a crotch portion of an undergarment. The undergarment has an elastic leg opening edge. The pre-formed cuffs are formed in a garment-facing side of the absorbent pad into which the undergarment elastic leg opening edge can be tucked to protect the undergarment from staining.
